Testament of Solomon

The Testament of Solomon is an Old Testament pseudepigraphical work, the authorship of which is ascribed to King Solomon. It describes how Solomon was enabled to build the Temple by commanding demons by means of a magical ring entrusted to him by the Archangel Michael. Content The text reads like a self-help manual against demonic activity, with a moral to follow. When a demon named Ornias harasses a young lad (who is favored by Solomon) by stealing half his pay and sucking out his vitality through the lad's thumb on his right hand, Solomon prays in the temple and receives from the archangel Michael a ring with the seal of God (in the shape of a Pentalpha having the name of God inscribed within) on it which will enable him to command the demons (c.f. Seal of Solomon). Solomon lends the ring to the lad who, by throwing the ring at the demon Ornias, stamps him with the seal and brings him under control. Then Solomon orders the demon Ornias to take the ring and similarly imprint the prince of demons who is Beelzeboul/Beelzebul. With Beelzebul under his command Solomon now has the entire race of demons at his bidding to build the temple. Beelzebul reveals he was formerly the highest ranking angel in Heaven. In Chapter 18 the demons of the 36 decans appear with names that sometimes seem to be conscious distortions of the traditional names for the decans and claim responsibility mostly for various ailments and pains. They provide the magical formulae by which they may be banished. For example, the thirty-third demon is Rhyx Phtheneoth who causes sore throat and tonsilitis and can be driven off by writing the word Leikourgos on ivy leaves and heaping them into a pile. Solomon's final demon encounter involves sending a servant boy with his ring to take captive a wind demon who is harassing the land of Arabia. The boy is to hold a wineskin against the wind with the ring in front of it, and then tie up the bag when it is full. The boy succeeds in his task and returns with the wineskin. The imprisoned demon calls himself Ephippas and it is by his power that a corner stone, thought to be too large to lift, is raised into the entrance of the temple. Then Ephippas and another demon from the Red Sea bring a miraculous column made of something purple (translation obscure) from out of the Red Sea. This Red Sea demon reveals himself as Amelouith who claimed to be the demon who supported the Egyptian magicians against Moses and who hardened Pharaoh's heart but had been caught with the Egyptian host when the sea returned and held down by this pillar until Ephippas came and together they could lift it. There follows a short conclusion in which Solomon describes how he fell in love with a Shunammite woman and agreed to worship Rephan and Moloch.[2] Solomon agrees to sacrifice to them, but only sacrifices the blood of locust by simply crushing them with his hand. Immediately, the Spirit of God departs from him and he is made foolish and his name a joke to both humans and demons. Along with the negative presentation she is given in the Bible, the Testament of Solomon presents the Queen of Sheba as a witch, indicating that the author had an awareness of Jewish tradition, which had argued the same. Solomon concludes his text with a warning to mankind. He reminds mankind not to be like he was; to be both aware of the present and the future: To understand the consequences of your actions before you act. Judeo-Christian themes The appearance of the archangel Michael is the first example of the Judeo-Christian theme surrounding the text. Perhaps the most intriguing Judeo-Christian theme found inside the text was during King Solomon's encounter with the demon Ephippas. While working on the temple, Ephippas is asked by Solomon why he is frustrated. The demon replies that he is concerned over the only thing that can truly take away his powers and defeat him. It was going to be a man born of a virgin who will be crucified on a cross by the Romans prodded on by the Jews. The "prediction" that Ephippas makes is actually one of the primary indicators that the text was written in the New Testament Era. A possible reference to the powers of Solomon, and pehaps the Testament of Solomon, is found in Luke 11:29,31. Jesus says (NIV), "This is a wicked generation. It asks for a miraculous sign. The Queen of the South will rise in judgement with the men of this generation...for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon's wisdom, and now one greater than Solomon is here." It is generally accepted that this is in reference to Solomon's wisdom, but the supernatural qualities of the verses may suggest more.

The Importance Of Giving Responsibly

Let me start by saying that as a rule of thumb I generally tend to avoid Ministries or Business ventures that encourage me to avoid paying my bills, taking food out of my families mouths on this pre-concieved notion that God and or the business will cover everything if I just give what I have..That is a lie from hell !!! I will explain why, First off think about this for a momment what does the word Responsible mean to you ? In the world we hear phrases like gamble responsibly, drink responsibly and things of that nature, because even the secular world knows the dangers of imbalance!
I am not against giving, those that know me on a personal level know I am the least materialistic person you will ever meet in your life and I give often and freely but responsibly and in scriptural order.
Are you seriously telling me that God is not a God of responsibility and order, is that what your trying to tell me ? Because I just dont buy that!
Often Christians are shamed and guilt tripped into giving because they know that they should and that it is good and right, but often what is not teached and preached is that God is a God of Responsibility and order and does not encourage chaotic lifestlyles in giving or any other fashion!!

So let me break it down for you in the sequential and correct scriptural order of giving :

1: Pay your bills ! The bible states clearly Charity begins at home, but if you neglect to pay your rent and other functions of that home what do you think will happen to that home, will you be in a better position to help people losing your Home ? I think not!

2: Do no take food out of the mouths of your Children, Scripture makes it clear that those who cannot provide for their family are worse than infidels if you are not ministering to those closest to you, you risk losing them in more ways than one when God put them closest to you for a reason!

3. Tithe- am not against it but in this correct order where it is fit and proper. It is right to honour God for the very life we breathe and I believe it opens up doors of opportunity and blessing so we can operate on a higher level of service to others

4. Give whatever is left over! Feel free to give in any fashion and any amount provided but only after you have done it in this correctly scriptural and most importantly "responsible" order, and I believe you will be blessed and suffer no sorrow for it because when you give in this order, often times the example of the life we lead sets people more free than our giving. Then you will truly know the peace of God in this matter and will not be condemed and guilt shamed into poverty!

Austin dated Kathryn Burrhus throughout high school and college, and the two married on November 24, 1990. Nonetheless, Austin pursued a relationship with Jeannie Clark ("Lady Blossom"), with whom he was working. His marriage to Burrhus was quickly annulled on August 7, 1992, and Austin and Clark married on December 18, 1992. Together, they have two daughters, Stephanie (born in 1991), and Cassidy (born in 1996). Cassidy lives with her mother in England, while Stephanie resides in Los Angeles. Austin also adopted Jade, Clark's daughter with former husband Chris Adams. Austin and Clark divorced on May 10, 1999. Jade lives in the U.S. with her husband and son.
On September 13, 2000, Austin married WWE wrestler Debra Marshall.
In December 2007, the Wrestling Observer newsletter reported that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin legally changed his real name (Steven Williams) to his wrestling name Steve Austin. In late 2009, Austin married his fourth wife, Kristin, with whom he splits his time between Marina Del Rey, California and Tilden, Texas, where he owns the Broken Skull Ranch.

Dyer worked as a high school guidance counselor in Detroit and as a professor of counselor education at St. John's University in New York City. He pursued an academic career, published in journals and established a private therapy practice. His lectures at St. John's, which focused on positive thinking and motivational speaking techniques, attracted many students. A literary agent persuaded Dyer to document his theories in his first book called Your Erroneous Zones. Dyer quit his teaching job and began a publicity tour of the United States of America, doggedly pursuing bookstore appearances and media interviews ("out of the back of his station wagon", according to Michael Korda, making the best-seller lists "before book publishers even noticed what was happening"), which eventually led to national television talk show appearances including Merv Griffin, The Tonight Show, and Phil Donahue.

Dyer proceeded to build on his success with lecture tours, a series of audiotapes, and regular publication of new books. Dyer's message resonated with many in the New Thought Movement and beyond. He often recounted anecdotes from his family life, and repeatedly used his own life experience as an example. His self-made man success story was a part of his appeal. Dyer told readers to pursue self actualization, calling reliance on the self as a guide to "religious" experience, and suggested that readers emulate Jesus Christ, whom he termed both an example of a self-actualized person, and a "preacher of self-reliance". Dyer criticized societal focus on guilt, which he saw as an unhealthy immobilization in the present due to actions taken in the past. He advocated readers to see how parents, institutions, and even they, themselves, have imposed guilt trips upon themselves.

Although Dyer initially resisted the spiritual tag, by the 1990s he had altered his message to include more components of spirituality when he wrote the book Real Magic, and discussed higher consciousness, in the book Your Sacred Self.

The Israeli Armored CAT D9

The D9R, the latest generation of Caterpillar D9 bulldozers in IDF service, has a power of 405–410 horse power and drawbar pull of 71.6 metric tons (about 716 kN). Older generations, such as D9L and D9N are still in service, mainly in the reserve forces. The D9 has a crew of two: operator and commander. It is operated by the TZAMA (In Hebrew: צמ"ה‎ = ציוד מכני הנדסי, mechanical engineering equipment) units of the Combat Engineering Corps.
The main IDF modification is the installation of an Israeli-made vehicle armor kit which provides armor protection to the mechanical systems and to the operator cabin. The operator and commander are protected inside an armored cabin ("the cockpit"), with bulletproof glass windows to protect against bombs, machine guns, and sniper fire. The IDF also developed and installed slat armor add-on to deflect rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) rounds. The fitted armor package adds roughly 15 additional tons to the production-line weight of the D9. The modified D9 bulldozers can be fitted with disparate features, such as crew-operated machine guns, smoke projectors, or grenade launchers. The Israeli armor and durable construction of the D9 makes it impervious to landmines, IED and large belly charges.^[1]
The IDF uses the D9 for a wide variety of combat engineering tasks, such as earthworks, digging moats, mounting sand barriers, building fortifications, rescuing stuck, overturned or damaged armored fighting vehicles (along with the M88 Recovery Vehicle), clearing land mines, detonating IEDs and explosives, handling booby traps, clearing terrain obstacles and opening routes to armored fighting vehicles and infantry, as well as structures demolition, including under fire.

Chest pain
Nausea

Researchers acknowledge, though, that a small percentage of people may have short-term reactions to MSG. Symptoms are usually mild and don't require treatment. The only way to prevent a reaction is to avoid foods containing MSG.

WWE Network: Triple H Makes A Huge Night Of Champions Announcement

What began as an on-screen storyline marriage in 2000 blossomed into a real-life romance when Levesque began dating Stephanie McMahon and they married for real on October 25, 2003. The couple have three daughters. He had previously been in a long-term relationship with former WWF wrestler Chyna. He also has a sister, Lynn.

In late 2004, Levesque released a book titled Making the Game: Triple H's Approach to a Better Body.^[ Mostly devoted to bodybuilding advice, the book also includes some autobiographical information, memoirs, and opinions.

Levesque is a fan of the band Motörhead (which has performed three different entrance themes for Triple H over his career), and is good friends with lead singer Lemmy. In fact, to pay homage to both Lemmy and the band, Triple H wore Lemmy inspired facial hair during a good portion of his career.

Sting Returns To Raw, Beats Up Seth Rollins

THE MAN CALLED STING.

WWE spent an entire episode of Monday Night Raw this evening building to a big unveiling of the dumbest looking Seth Rollins statue. John Cena was going to put a stop to it but he was booted out of the building by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to make sure the celebration went off without a hitch.

But they didn't count on the Stinger crashing the party.

That's what he did, after Rollins took 45 minutes talking about nothing. He talked so long, in fact, that Sting sweat off his face paint waiting for the big reveal. The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York loved it when it finally happened though, because it was Sting and he was there to beat the hell out of the guy who just never shuts the hell up.

And he did.

And then he held up the WWE world heavyweight championship and my little mark heart just couldn't handle it anymore.

STING IS BACK.

WWE SUMMERSLAM 2015 PREDICTIONS!

At WrestleMania XXX in 2014, Brock Lesnar defeated The Undertaker to break his undefeated WrestleMania streak.Four months later, Lesnar defeated John Cena at SummerSlam to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but lost it the following year at WrestleMania 31 in his match against Roman Reigns when Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and won the championship. Lesnar received his rematch against Rollins at Battleground, and was closing in on the win when The Undertaker returned and attacked Lesnar, causing the match to end in an inconclusive finish due to Rollins and the referee disappearing from the ring. This was initially reported as a "no contest", but the following night on the July 20 episode of Raw, Lilian Garcia announced Lesnar as the winner by disqualification. Also on the same night, it was announced that Undertaker would face Lesnar in the main event of SummerSlam. This will be Undertaker's first SummerSlam match since 2008, and his first pay-per-view match outside of WrestleMania since Bragging Rights in 2010.
